Modern World History

This Course examines the major turning points of the modern world from approximately 1750 to the present. The goal is to make understandable the political, economic and social foundations of the world we live in.  Students will consider multiple accounts of events in order to understand international relations from a variety of perspectives.

United States History II

A study of the history of the United States since the era of Reconstruction following the Civil War to the present. Focus is placed on political, economic, and social events related to industrialization and urbanization, major wars, domestic and foreign policies of the Cold War and post-Cold War eras, and reform movements.
